Mere looking at it you might think it shouldn’t be that bad until you attempt writing the letter without prior knowledge or guidance this is why we are here to guide you to write the most captivating motivational letter.

How to structure a motivational letter.

Basically we have two ways of drafting a motivational letter that can be accepted anywhere. The classification is based on the number and size of the paragraphs. Both techniques are good but the second is good for fact based to the point description while the first is good for the recital version.

  1. A 3 paragraph structure where one paragraph is allocated each to the introduction, body and conclusion.
  2. A 5-7 paragraph structure in which the main body is divided into small paragraphs of 2-3 sentences.

Introduction.

This is a short paragraph that should include your personal information, the objective of the application and a brief introduction to the lines below. Kindly make sure that your contact information is at the top of the paragraph.

Body of the motivational letter.

This is the major part of your letter, personal achievements, skills and determination for the field will make this portion selling, a more appropriate approach is to avoid exaggeration and stay close to the facts, figures and achievements as this can support the story.

Conclusion

The introduction and conclusion are very important parts in writing any letter as this would either make the reader continue to read your letter or neglect it as there would definitely be a huge pile of letters to go through. In the motivational letter, the conclusion would summarize the body of the letter. It is important that you end on a thank you note for the attention of the reader.
