Cambridge Trust International Scholarships at University of Cambridge is currently open. The Cambridge Commonwealth, European & International Trust was established on 1 August 2013 from the merger of the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust and the Cambridge Overseas Trust. The Trust awards about 500 scholarships yearly, and assist within 1,100 and 1,400 students in residence yearly from 85 nations across the globe. The University of Cambridge will provide, through the Cambridge Trusts, about 250 Cambridge International Scholarships to Abroad Students who go on a research course in the next academic year. The awards will be made on a competitive basis to those applicants considered by their departments to be the most outstanding.

Eligibility for Cambridge Trust International Scholarships at University of Cambridge
To be qualified to get a Cambridge International Scholarship, students must:
- be responsible to pay the Overseas University Composition Fee (i.e. be evaluated as ‘Overseas’ for Fee Status purposes).
- be engaged in a three year research program leading to the PhD (i.e. will be registered as PhD, “Probationary PhD” or “CPGS”) starting in the next academicals year.
- be engaged in full-time study.
- hold a high upper-second-class undergraduate honors degree from a UK Higher Education Institution, or an equivalent from an Overseas Institution.
NB: all scholars applying for a program of one year period or less (including LLM, MSt, MBA, MED, Part III Mathematics, MPhil) in the next academic year are not qualified for a CISS award in the following academic year.
Selection Conditions: A Committee generates one ranked list of all PhD applicants across all disciplines. The factors taken into consideration in this list are academic qualifications, references and research potential. The financial condition of candidates does not affect the selection of scholarship frontrunner.
